Description from the Bronx Survey: Although heavily altered, 610 City Island Avenue still retains some of its original flavor. Probably built around the turn of the century, the house’s most striking feature is its roof which slopes down more than twice the height of the first floor facade encompassing two attic stories.
It is pierced by dormer windows and to the right is a two-story round bay with a polygonal roof which contributes to the asymmetrical massing of the house.
