Location:5028 Fieldston Road. Block: 2288, Lot: 57, BIN 2100934. Lloyd Hall was moved some 300 feet in 2001 to make room for the athletic field just east of it. The porch, criticized in the survey, has apparently been removed or reduced.The land was acquired by Riverdale Country School in 1979. Afterwards, Lloyd Hall was renamed Vinik Hall.
Status: Never landmarked or heard. It is currently Vinik Hall in Riverdale Country School.
Description from the Bronx Survey: A fieldstone mansion designed in a simplified French Second Empire style with an impressive bellcast mansard roof. The drastically altered wrap-around porch is grossly out of scale to the rest of the house and reduces the structure’s architectural impact.
