Five Pointz in Long Island City (22-44 Jackson Avenue), Before and After

August 21, 2018 / Category: Before and after / Posted by: Emilio Guerra

The former Neptune Meter Factory building at 45–46 Davis Street (a.k.a.46-37 Crane Street and 22-44 Jackson Avenue) was built in the 1890s and in the 1970s became an artist colony. In the 1990s it became popular as a mural art spot. The building was demolished in 2013-2014 and will soon open as a 1,115 apartment complex.

The first photo was shot in May, 2009; second photo was shot in August, 2018.
