Camp as a. single family residence and is a handsome example of the Queen Anne style. Asymmetrically massed , the frame structure is two and one-half stories high over a brick basement and is approached by a high wooden stoop. Typical of the style, the facade displays a great variety of ornament and texture. At the first story level is a striking arched porch on turned posts, enhanced by a balustrade and cut-out bargeboard.<\/p>\n
A smaller recessed porch appears over the front entrance at the second story level and to the left is a pedimented window. The variety of these elements is further complemented by the roof’s massing, comprised of ornamented gables intersecting at different levels. Such picturesque irregularity typifies the style.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Location: 1074 Cauldwell Avenue.
