Block: 2379, Lot: 45.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong> Never landmarked or heard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emilio.nyc\/blog\/bronx-survey\/the-1978-bronx-survey\/\">Bronx Survey<\/a>:<\/strong> The modest red brick Victcrian Gothic style structure with stone trim , the Elton Avenue Methodist Church at Elton Avenue and 158th Stret;c, was erected in 1S78-79 and designed by either John Rogers or H. S. Baker ( records are unclear). The central placement of the handsome Gothic- arched entrance emphasizes the symmetrical design of the church while four evenly spaced slender towerlettes divide the facade into three equal bays.
