The deed amount was $9,900.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emilio.nyc\/blog\/bronx-survey\/the-1978-bronx-survey\/\">Bronx Survey<\/a>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Thompson\u00a0&amp;<\/span><span class=\"s2\">\u00a0<\/span>Frohling, <span class=\"s3\">1909.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s4\">This <\/span>charming red <span class=\"s4\">and <\/span>buff brick church <span class=\"s4\">makes <\/span>good use <span class=\"s4\">of <\/span><span class=\"s5\">a <\/span>difficult\u00a0triangular <span class=\"s3\">site. <\/span>The <span class=\"s4\">most <\/span>unusual <span class=\"s4\">aspect of the <\/span>design <span class=\"s6\">is <\/span><span class=\"s4\">the <\/span>way <span class=\"s3\">in\u00a0<\/span>which <span class=\"s3\">the <\/span>semicircular <span class=\"s4\">apse has <\/span>been positioned <span class=\"s6\">at <\/span><span class=\"s4\">the most <\/span>conspicuous\u00a0end of the <span class=\"s1\">corner <\/span><span class=\"s7\"> lot. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">Cusp-arched windows along <\/span>the sides of the build<span class=\"s6\">ing\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s3\">are <\/span>arranged under <span class=\"s6\">a <\/span>flaring hipped roof <span class=\"s4\">that <\/span><span class=\"s6\">is <\/span><span class=\"s8\">pierced <\/span><span class=\"s4\">by small <\/span>shed\u00a0<span class=\"s4\">dormers.
